Stop cherry-picking... He doesn't just "admit" that he's messed up; he keeps ruminating on his mistakes and shortcoming, and lets it affect him deeply on multiple occasions. This is out of character. BoC doesn't need moments of self-doubt to set up his determination. He just IS.

Supernova has implemented one of the first ever character-specific ruleset nerfs in Smash singles history.

Steve players will not be able to counter-pick or ban stages versus a non-Steve opponent. ❌

I think this is tremendous progress in a more fair ruleset.

Steve mains should be allowed to play, but to pretend that the character isn’t grossly overpowered is also in bad faith. This slight nerf to Steve seems to be a fair compromise to me.

Looking forward to see how the experiment plays out.

I think yall really gotta stop using this argument as some sort of gotcha. We DIDN’T ban MK or Bayo and they pretty much ruined the game the same way Steve is doing such. Power levels aside letting the same problem of extremely polarizing gameplay happen 3 times is insane.
