NRZ CEO Charangwa Steps Down After Just Two Months in Office.

Munyaradzi Stephen Charangwa, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the @NRZ263 effective 1 April 2026, has stepped down on medical grounds after serving just over two months in the position.

Deputy CEO Ainah Dube-Kaguru has been appointed Acting CEO with immediate effect as the NRZ Board begins the process of recruiting a substantive chief executive.

The Board said the railway company's turnaround, modernisation and infrastructure revitalisation programmes will continue uninterrupted.
