🚨 Matthias Jaissle on Newcastle fans’ treatment of Alexander Isak:

🎙️ “The fans made their feelings very clear from the first minute, and Isak had to play through that pressure. They didn’t let him settle, and I think that affected his game. He never found his rhythm or the freedom he had here before.

“That’s football. When you hurt a club and its supporters the way he did, you can’t expect St James’ Park to welcome you back with applause. The fans wanted him to feel every touch, every mistake and they got exactly that.

“For me, the most satisfying thing is that Newcastle didn’t need to talk about Isak after the game. We made him a spectator. That says more than any booing ever could.”
