@NevernotDM Also, sidenote, the mental image of rushing the healing potion and getting more of it on your tunic than in your mouth usually goes over pretty well :p

@NevernotDM I've only done this for one campaign, but it worked pretty well:
You CAN drink a healing potion as a bonus action, and it works as normal.
Or, if you drink it as a full action (or just generally out of combat) you heal as if you rolled the maximum possible number on that die.
