Rob Reiner spent decades defending democracy and fighting for equality - even when it wasn’t easy or popular. At a moment when silence is safer, his willingness to speak out is a reminder that protecting democracy requires courage.
RETWEET to honor Reiner's legacy of justice ♥️
California doesn’t need talking points on affordability from a billionaire. We need leaders who actually understand the cost crisis our families are facing.
Fighting inequality makes our economy stronger. When I’m Governor, my focus will be on bringing down costs and growing our state.
North Carolina should be expanding access to health care, not restricting it. We can solve this on a bipartisan basis. The legislature needs to come back and fully fund Medicaid.
We have 24 hours before the Senate vote to stop the January premium increases - $6,200 annual increase for the average Connecticut family on an ACA plan.
Republicans can still choose to do the right thing and vote with us.
🚨HUGE: Gov. JB Pritzker has signed a law that creates a pathway to sue ICE agents for unlawful detentions and BANS immigration arrests around Illinois courthouses.
This is what protecting due process and fighting federal overreach looks like.
Pete Hegseth needs to resign. Full stop.
We’re talking about a Secretary who can’t even maintain basic Operational Security to keep our troops safe — an embarrassment propped up only by blind loyalty to Trump.

BREAKING: Sen. Sanders DEMOLISHES "pathological liar" Trump, mocking him for being out of touch by telling Americans the economy is great, when it's only great for his billionaire pals.
This is incredible.
🚨 BREAKING: The Epstein files controversy just escalated — again.
According to CBS News, Epstein survivors and Senate Democrats are now calling for a full audit to determine whether the Epstein case files have been tampered with before their public release.
In a letter sent Thursday to the DOJ Inspector General, Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats demanded a formal review to verify there are no breaks in the chain of custody and no unexplained gaps in the records.
Survivor representatives told CBS that a third-party review is urgently needed to ensure nothing has been “scrubbed, softened, or quietly removed before the public sees it.”
There is no question about it: Alito, Thomas, Roberts, and the three Trump Supreme Court appointees are all GOP partisan hacks.
Pass term limits. Expand the court. Enact an enforceable code of ethics.
We must keep pushing Democrats to enact court reform.

Dem Sen. Amy Klobuchar said The Supreme Court should hold Trump officials in contempt for defying orders.
“We are a nation of laws, not of kings,” Klobuchar said. “They have the power to hold people in contempt … they have the right to do this.”
And they absolutely, without a doubt, must do it. No one is above the law.

The change has been easy to miss. The main evidence is a subtle shift in Republican rhetoric. But that shift has been crystal clear if you follow the ins and outs of health care policy. @CitizenCohn on the GOP's quiet effort to go after Medicaid expansion:
