Botox is soooo unnecessary in 2026. Literally pointless.
You have an entire anti-ageing arsenal before you start temporarily paralysing facial muscles:
• intelligent skincare: OTC retinoids, vitamin C, peptides, barrier support, intelligent UV management
• microencapsulated peptide science / @aurabiomskin obviously, the most potent on the market currently
• fractional ablative / non-ablative lasers → controlled dermal remodelling + neocollagenesis
• collagen biostimulators (PLLA, CaHA) → stimulate new collagen + improve laxity/ structure
• microneedling → collagen induction + texture/remodelling
• RF microneedling → controlled dermal injury + radiofrequency for collagen remodelling/tightening
• PRP / PRF → autologous regenerative/ biostimulatory approaches
prescription retinoids → long-term improvement in photoageing + collagen biology
• adequate protein + collagen / glycine + micronutrient sufficiency
• thyroid + metabolic health
• adequate energy availability instead of chronically starving yourself
• sleep + circadian rhythm + stress management
• resistance training + maintaining muscle mass
Botox works extremely well at what Botox does: reducing muscle contraction and therefore dynamic wrinkles.
It has also endless downsides!!! From emotional blunting to systemic toxicity to potential bone atrophy.
I’m personally much more interested in asking: why does this tissue look old, and how do I make the skin and underlying biology function younger?
2026 is the year of COLLAGEN MAXXING, metabolism and peptide science tbh
It really depends on the case but I definitely agree that bimax is overrated and gives pretty bad aesthetic results. I’m actually preparing a video on that subject it should be out tomorrow.
Bimax gives you that dogmaxxed face with an over advanced lower third and recessed mid face as we can see in these before and after.
There are a lot better alternatives like expansion and protraction, i will post about it soon.
Thumbpulling won’t do anything for maxillary expansion. Complete cope and actually dangerous.
You cannot split the midpalatal suture by pushing on your gums with your thumbs (it’s like thinking you will grow by doing Maasai jumps). In adults and even in late teens these sutures are fused, you need a bone borne expander drilled directly into the palatal bone, that generates constant high forces to split the midpalatal suture, and disarticulate the circummaxillary sutures.
That’s why bone borne expanders like MARPE, FME and MSE exist.
What thumbpulling replicates is tooth borne expanders mechanic, same principle as AGGA appliance, one of the biggest scandals in modern orthodontics where people have lost their teeth. Tooth borne forces don’t move bone, they tip teeth and cause bone resorption on the alveolar bone.
The shameless grifter Jester Patel @OscarPatel promoting this to people trying to fix their airway and facial structure is real harm. People need to stop promoting this nonsense especially big names like @paulsaladinomd
This is what actual bone borne expansion can do :

@celestialbe1ng Veronica which non toxic sunscreen are you using? Are you planning to create one with Aurabiom? Because all non toxic sunscreens are with beef tallow and I don’t want that
@MagnusVigso Doing some pulling techniques during a nasomaxillary expansion can be interesting since the circummaxillary sutures are loosened that’s why orthodontists use facemasks while expanding to move to the maxilla more forward but it can only be done during a skeletal expansion
