If you haven’t watched any Catholic/Orthodox debates on RC Dogma, you probably haven’t noticed Catholics don’t even take the position that their Church actually teaches anything that must be believed other than ex Cathedra statements, and perhaps some vague belief in a sacramental system (which ironically does not need the RC Church to even have sacramental value).

I think the only thing that Roman Catholics affirmatively believe as an article of Faith is that the Pope can teach Ex Cathedra and only Ex Cathedra must be believed, everything else is optional. And with that are only two apparent Ex Cathedra statements - both in recent history. It’s that and the Pope is a literal stand-in for Christ. If you “are with” the Pope, then you are basically saved.

To prove my point, I’ll ask you again and people can read the prior posts to see who the bad faith actor is: Where do I find the .0001% of Roman Catholic teaching that matters? (NB: The other question I asked - that you claim is “all over the map” has to do with “how is it - via what means - are infallible Roman Catholic teachings declared otherwise than ex Cathedra”). I know the answer, but do you?

This actually just helps prove that all the Roman Catholic Apologetics about the “system” many other long lasting systems exist and have arguable stood the tests of time, for one China as a nation, another, Islam. Of course Orthodox Christianity has operated from the Apostolic era.
