@brandenflasch When I was cranking out miles in my ID4 FE (128kw) I never had an issue with charging. Having the Ioniq spoiled me, but even MME even with much slower charging than the I5 is still totally doable. I’m not canonballing🤷‍♂️

@ChadMoran @brandenflasch @gregm12 CAN — not always, I’ve had cpo pre-auths hold for a week. And when you DCFC as much as I do that can really add up.

@brandenflasch @gregm12 And they work —- Shell and CP both charge a $75 hold — on TOP of the charge amount. If the session fails you get hit with another. I had a a FREE CP hit me with $50 that took a week to fall off. Tesla is the only one that does pre-auth properly

@Wattistherange I talk to a lot of non-EV owners everyday who ask about my EV (rideshare) and range is the first thing they ask about. I tell them that once you learn your car’s nuances it becomes a non-issue. All cars have range anxiety. You’re just more acutely aware of it in EVs

@itskyleconner @cityofaspen Add in the $50-75 hold and @ChargePointnet is hard to recommend these days. Especially after I got a hold on a free charger just for joining the waitlist to charge. A hold that took a week to fall off.
