Chad Bokelman

Co-host of @lanterncast (Est 2008) & Ragman aficionado!

Comics, DC history deep dives & whatever other nerdy nonsense has my attention + Chronic overthinker.

@PTCGenius Will there be Japanese cards added? I know that’s likely a lot of work. But for instance one of my all time chases is the Japanese exclusive CD promo Charizard

[Chad Bokelman @thenerdfonz]

@xharleysaurus Yeah from a RolePlay perspective I totally get you. It would open up so many conversations. But Burn is playing Varys like an omnipotent character who LITERALLY nothing gets past him. How do you fight that or plan ANYTHING safely? I don't blame Chatty for being cautious.

“I’m not fearless because I’m brave, I’m fearless because I’m broken.” — Hal Jordan

Who else is ready for tomorrow’s finale?!🗡️👊

Inspired by Alex Ross’ “Shadows: Green Lantern.” Nothing will ever top his original masterpiece.

Special Thanks from the credits of LANTERNS ep. 8:

I'm happy to see this. I wish the order were different to put Martin Nodell at the top, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers.

I will say, as much as I love seeing BOTH Gil Kane & John Broome included on this list, I think people sometimes forget just how involved Julius Schwartz was in the Silver Age reinvention of Green Lantern.

It's my personal assertion that Julie belongs in the credits for most Silver Age character adaptations, but ESPECIALLY Barry and Hal.

It reminds me of a conversation with Denny O’Neil (famed comic writer/editor). He often said he didn’t like writing god like characters because of their omnipotence and how limiting that was.

If Varys is omnipotent…where can the story possibly go?

I guess we’ll see…

[Chad Bokelman @thenerdfonz]

IF Varys is able to see bank transactions & send rabbits to eavesdrop on convos where phones are off (even when they’re off IN TRANSIT to the location)…what’s the POINT of planning ANYTHING?!

How can the characters win or make any plans in RP if ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is private?

@qtcinderella My father SWEARS by the healing effects of gargling Tequila like you do with mouthwash.

It's worked for me before, it's not worked for me before. Could be an "old wives tale". But could be worth a shot...(pun intended I guess)

[Chad Bokelman @thenerdfonz]

My theory is it’s not Varys. Rhodes still has a hit out on him from Mr. C. It’s likely someone who knows what’s happening (in a sense) and is taking advantage of Rhodes wanting answers to draw him in and collect.

[firuze @commonerstats]

who the f is this

[Chad Bokelman @thenerdfonz]

Don't mind me...just auditioning for @Valkyrae

On the balcony of the Funhouse, Chatterbox sank exhausted into one of their two chairs. His mind raced as he held his mask in his hands.

"What could this mean? Why doesn't she have it? How did Mickey get it? Where...where is she?" he said softly to the face he gave away.

[ₕₑₑ ally ✶*̣̩⋆̩☽⋆⚔︎ @GT4LLY]

plot twist… varys actually is her real dad and tessa is her mom and they would sing this to her as a kid.. OH YUCK that would make things very uncomfortable i take it back

[⟢ @Yupjessie]

The CHILL that went down my spine when Tessa realized Helen was singing the rabbit song

[pink ✩ @moodyvesalt]
