@xharleysaurus Yeah from a RolePlay perspective I totally get you. It would open up so many conversations. But Burn is playing Varys like an omnipotent character who LITERALLY nothing gets past him. How do you fight that or plan ANYTHING safely? I don't blame Chatty for being cautious.

I will say, as much as I love seeing BOTH Gil Kane & John Broome included on this list, I think people sometimes forget just how involved Julius Schwartz was in the Silver Age reinvention of Green Lantern.

It's my personal assertion that Julie belongs in the credits for most Silver Age character adaptations, but ESPECIALLY Barry and Hal.

It reminds me of a conversation with Denny O’Neil (famed comic writer/editor). He often said he didn’t like writing god like characters because of their omnipotence and how limiting that was.

If Varys is omnipotent…where can the story possibly go?

IF Varys is able to see bank transactions & send rabbits to eavesdrop on convos where phones are off (even when they’re off IN TRANSIT to the location)…what’s the POINT of planning ANYTHING?!

How can the characters win or make any plans in RP if ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is private?

My theory is it’s not Varys. Rhodes still has a hit out on him from Mr. C. It’s likely someone who knows what’s happening (in a sense) and is taking advantage of Rhodes wanting answers to draw him in and collect.
