@sodapopblitz i just answered this on another post. yes you had to join a site for every fandom and the sites had message boards so you didn't have to leave the site to discuss fandom and fic.

@the_sunny_spot 2000's teen and i started reading fic on fandom specific sites that had their own message boards for fandom, fic discussion and planning. you had to join each site for every fandom you were in. then lj >> ffnet >> ao3, never wattpad

@thedianxialover also the way the ao3 reporting system works is different. only one person can make a report, if anyone else tries it states that it's already been reported. so these 'mass report' statements are lies.
