After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

The Constitution bans religious tests for office. Full stop. The oath is to the Constitution, not the Bible, not Christianity, not your comfort level.

Presidents who didn’t use a Bible:
• John Quincy Adams (law book)
• Theodore Roosevelt (no Bible)
• Franklin Pierce (affirmed, law book)
• LBJ (Catholic missal)

So unless you’re claiming multiple presidents were illegitimate, the “wrong book” outrage collapses immediately.

And the Saudi Arabia comparison? Wild choice. Are you arguing America should operate like a theocracy where religion controls law? Because that’s literally the opposite of the republic you claim to defend.

Counting Muslims in office while chanting “by the people” isn’t patriotism — it’s selective democracy.

My son Hasan’s YouTube channel (minor) was permanently terminated with no specific policy violation cited. Appeal rejected with generic responses. I’m concerned YouTube is relying on AI enforcement that’s harming a child’s hard work and future without transparency. Requesting human escalation and clarity.
