Care coordination doesn't address social determinants. You can't fix the impact of centuries of racist laws & policies with a tech platform. Systemic issues can only be mitigated by systemic solutions...P👏🏼O👏🏼L👏🏼I👏🏼C👏🏼Y👏🏼
Happy #BmoreHBCUday! I'm a 2007 graduate of @MeharryMedical, one of 4 historically black med schools in the country. Proud to be @MeharryMade! P.s. if you zoom in on the graduation pic, you'll see my eyes are closed. What can I say, sleep is a hot commodity for med students.

I had the opportunity to provide welcome remarks for the @UMB_CURE scholars program in October 2019. Love what @JayPerman @UMBaltimore established with this program!
Ayishat Yussuf is preparing herself for her first year of @SpelmanCollege, to continue her journey to become a pediatrician like @JayPerman. It's a dream realized thanks to the support of the @UMB_CURE Scholars Program. https://t.co/3KuTRQn3et

As a pediatrician, vaccines are commonplace in my practice. I can’t overstate the importance of getting your children vaccinated against preventable diseases.
BREAKING: The first US polio case in over 9 years happened because they were not vaccinated. They now have paralysis.
I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but vaccines work.
