Step 8: You now have to pay a lot of taxes.

Step 9: Meltdown.

Step 10: Say the socialism wasn’t done the right way and try again.

Socialism is just an infinite loop of “yes, do that,” followed by “NO, NOT LIKE THAT! THAT IS NOT SOCIALISM” when it actually happens.

The entire ideology is just being surprised by consequences forever.
