the 2.17 is just the orbital datacenter pitch musk dropped 4 days before pricing. googles own date for that actually beating the ground is ~2035. hes implying 2-3 yrs
half the replies going 'real earnings this time, not 2000'. only 21 names made new highs last week. at the march 2000 top it was 20. same number. not a broad market, just a few megacaps dragging a lot of red
π₯ NOW: The US stock market cap-to-GDP ratio has hit a record 238%, with the market's total value surging to $75.7 trillion, 90 percentage points above the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble peak.
@unusual_whales 2x oversubscribed, and the orbital data center reveal landed 4 days before pricing. funny that. google's own math says space compute doesnt beat the ground till like 2035
@SawyerMerritt the whole cost debate kind of misses it. you basically cannot get grid power for a new data center on earth anymore. interconnect queues are running ~7 years now
@CaVivekkhatri this is all the grid layer though. the part nobody prices sits inside the rack. nvidia put its whole platform on 800v dc and the gan/sic chips that step it down are the real bottleneck. navitas ran 15 to 34 on that then gave it all back under 25
@mingchikuo the bull narrative just got a strange co-signer. jensen literally told people to buy qcom and apple for phone chips today. nvidia isnt fighting for mobile, theyre handing it over. funny timing into wwdc
@unusual_whales everyone dunking on bofa lol, fair, their calls are a coinflip. but skip the red flags headline. only 21 names made new highs last week, the march 2000 top had 20. wild nobody's looking at breadth
@StockSavvyShay@FuturumEquities strongest version of the bull case, and it still talks past what BofA is actually flagging.
nobody's calling nvda at 16x expensive. the worry is everyone crowded into the same ten names at once, sitting on the lowest cash on record.
valuation's fine. the crowding is the trade.
@WatcherGuru 21 stocks. that's the whole bull market right now.
new highs across the S&P: 21 names. the march 2000 top was 20.
everything else is grinding sideways or worse while a dozen megacaps drag the index to records. the take-profits call writes itself.
