@TaliaGold @Reddit A consultant with multiple clients is ethical but an employee with multiple employers is unethical? Hmmm…I bet @TaliaGold you sit on multiple boards in the start ups you invested in, some may even indirectly compete with each other. Ethical or unethical? #POV of where you sit.

@DiyaGaur10 Just pop the keyword #Overemployed in your favorite look up tools and then 🤯

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@GergelyOrosz Oh yeah for sure using it to the tilt 😉

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@Suhail Some irony in all of this drama. Founders, didn't you work on your startup baby on the side while fully employed?

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@markbrooks LOL the accidental social media marketer!

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@sarvagya_kul Lol the jealousy and hate of not being a 100x engineer is real.

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@realsohamparekh I got you dawg. You keep doing you, no need to apologize or make up an excuse, founders don't.

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

For all @ycombinator founders lambasting @realsohamparekh, don't be jealous he's the 100X engineer you wanted to be.

He's young...you were desperate and impressed so hired him, and now y'all are trying to ruin him. Like an old western movie, what goes around comes around.

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@mcuban hahaha, that's the kind of free agent signing that then gets waived after summer league!

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@RosserJobs Well isn’t it obvious…

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@nealtaparia Better get going at being #Overemployed

[Neal Taparia @nealtaparia]

Your 9-to-5 job is dying.

By 2034, it'll be extinct.

That's Reid Hoffman's latest prediction – the founder of LinkedIn who predicted the rise of social media in 1997.

Here's what he said next:

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@RosserJobs So easy, your do both and be #overemployed!

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@financialsamura Hybrid work man, must be a Wednesday 😂

[FourPlex Guy Carlos Gonzalez @dig_deeper1]

For those of you who make $500,000 a year, what do you do for a living ?

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

@dig_deeper1 I work two jobs at once :) it works >>> over $500K and some. #overemployed

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

Finally a new blog post is out! Find out what I've been busy doing...https://t.co/WQD9vNsEjG

@VicVijayakumar Try #Overemployed and working two or more remote jobs. It becomes blatantly clear which activities are time waster and which are higher priorities.

[The Random Recruiter @randomrecruiter]

When it comes to remote work, it's like we're back in 2019.

Rare & hard to get.

Since remote roles are in limited supply, and there's a ton of workers applying for them, employers have the massive advantage.

Simple supply / demand.

The argument people give for employers is that "it gives access to better talent" since you're not confined to a specific region.

But guess what, it gives access to cheaper talent, too. Not even talking about offshore here.

There is a huge difference of cost of hiring someone in the south east (i.e. ATL, Charlotte) & Texas vs. HCOL areas like SFO, NJ/NY, & the DC area.

So if you're in one of these HCOL areas, not only are you going up against the best talent across the entire country, you're also going up against cheaper talent in LCOL areas which will potentially drive your salary down.

Was invited to visit our son's school this morning.

He's four.

He sees me, huge smile on this face, sprints over to give me a hug, and sits on my lap.

Ten minutes later, as the class-sing-along starts, I find myself thinking about the rest of my day.

About my to-do list, the people I need to follow up with, and the calls I have scheduled for the day.

I catch myself.

In 20 years I would give anything to go back to that moment, with him sitting on my lap, clapping and singing.

Gotta do better.

[Isaac @ Overemployed 🖖 @TheOveremployed]

This is NOT the way. If you’re #Overemployed and spending like this, you’re an idiot.

[Julie Chang @JulieChangRE]

Making $3.7M a year and cash poor

$2390 left over each month

What category spend surprises you most and feel is completely wasteful?

If you talk to enough mortgage lenders you will hear stories like this except these people have no assets - do not own a house.
