@JKeynesAlpha I think many folks are valuing QS as a public company, but it's still behaving like a late-stage PE investment. Phase 1 was the science. Phase 2 is industrial execution. They're de-risking with partners, but public investors only see a fraction of the story - No NDA's.
@JKeynesAlpha During the cold winters as a $QS long, I amuse myself with what I call the brachiosaurus trading pattern. (daily compressed chart) - I've been DCA on this for a few years now. Every dollar I put into this; I offset with stable buys elsewhere. GLTY!
Sorry @QuickBooks, after being my accounting platform of choice for nearly 20 years, I'm going to phase you out. This is largely due to the updates to payroll automatic withdrawals for payroll tax.
@DiMartinoBooth@nerdyJohnConnor You haven't lived unless you sat patiently for the radio DJ to play your requested song, only to have him start it and talk all the way through the intro and right up to the vocal part. And years later, when you hear that song, you hear the DJ in your head about some swapmeet.
@AlanStern I consider the close-up views of Pluto to be among the most transformative images of my life. I remember when Pluto was nothing more than a โdot in the sky,โ and then to see its surface texture and color, is astonishing. We will never again not know what Pluto looks like.
@IvanTheK In context of my earlier reply, Timing arbitrage is the gaming: capital holders choose when to realize gains. Employees with NSOs/RSUs are forced into one-time ordinary income spikes at liquidity. Same economics, wildly different tax outcomes.
@smerconish I have to agree, unfortunately. Women make up 50.9%of the US population and 53% of voters, but only 30% of elected officials on average.
Simply put, we need more women in politics.
