Yesterday we ran a reusable pad making workshop and hybrid talk with fellow Bristol-born @aardman (home to Wallace and Gromit and co 🤩) as they join our mission to end period poverty one reusable sanitary pad at a time with the launch of the first ever corporate Pacha club!
New partner alert! We’re working with Jigsaw to reach new communities in Lebanon. We’re delivering our reusable pads alongside menstrual health education to Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian mothers and daughters to foster conversations around menstrual health at home.
It’s #VolunteerWeek so we’ll be sharing some testimonials from our incredible volunteers who make reusable sanitary pads for vulnerable people. They are the life force of Pachamama.

Period poverty is a particular issue in refugee camps during conflict.
“When you hear the war sirens in the middle of the night and you grab a bag and grab anything you can get your hands on, who thinks to pack sanitary products?” said period poverty activist @ellalambertnow.
This Wednesday, Global Citizen convened key decision-makers and experts including @HelenGrantMP, @micksheldrick, @erna_solberg, @ThokoPooley, and @PScotlandCSG at @UKParliament to discuss the intersection of girls’ education and health.
