The person that ordered it? None other than Steve Molaro, writer on D&J, iCarly, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101…& later Big Bang Theory.
Fun fact: it was also Molaro who turned to the executive producer, while Drake & Josh were filming the scene where they fight over a shrimp on The Amanda Show…and said “You know these two are your next show, right?”
The rest is history. One of the movies being named Thank You Molaro!” in the last produced episode of Drake & Josh is a reference to that very moment.
@childhoodsource It's not the same, but they're now doing things like that on the sign at the Asphalt Cafe (which on Victorious was the 'Now showing' sign at Nick on Sunset) and in the comments during the transitions.
Well, that would never happen.
A lot of the former cast and crew need the paychecks, because it’s damn hard to make a living in 2026. And it’s super easy to capitalize on a show that was so beloved back in the day. Hence why it’s been done seven or eight times now with projects he created.
But there’s also something to be said for the fact that none of them have apparently asked for his blessing to bring his shows back or made an effort to involve him. Obviously, there are some feelings there, and none of them seem particularly interested in revisiting that chapter of their careers with him involved.
Oh, of course we have the answer now: the soundtrack only has songs from the first 12 episodes! So much music in this show, because there are also (parts of) songs in the episodes that aren't on the album! #HollywoodArts
I'm wondering that too! My guess is it's the entirety of season 1, since I doubt every episode has at least one song...
On the other hand, it'd be weird to have to wait for the next batch of episodes to finally have clips/context of half of the songs...
Interesting 'Here to Stay' music video! It's not just a clip from the first episode, but an alternate performance: the other extras don't come out. #HollywoodArts

@ZayForReal_ Definitely possible! But the first time in Puppet Love, she just says the name by herself. Her classmates say it the second time when it gets brought up the second time in that episode.
Good thing: the #HollywoodArts theme song doesn't start over halfway through the episode. It's right at the beginning!
Bad thing: only 1 ep has the 'full' 30-second theme song. In the others, it's only 10 seconds! Which is probably why it seems to have been made 'on a budget'...
True! Although I don't think that's the case here. It doesn't matter a lot, but sometimes it's noticeable.
For example, her classmates already know Jen's agent's name in Subway Showdown, while they only learn it in the next episode (Puppet Love).
Jake Farrow & Chris Nowak are the only Victorious writers to return to Hollywood Arts. Joe Sullivan also worked on Victorious as an assistant to an EP & was in/around the writers room.
So far, no #Victorious directors are part of Hollywood Arts.
