I canโt see Manchester City paying over ยฃ120m for Enzo Fernรกndez.
Would be pretty embarrassing if Chelsea let him go for less after setting their own ยฃ120m deadline, which has long since passed.
The Pep Signal is saying no. ๐๐ฉต

๐จ "I am going to say here tonight that i EXPECT Manchester City to make a formal bid for Enzo Fernandez, maybe even before this weekend" (@alex_crook@talkSPORT)
@RealTolmie Agree that would be the dream but do you think itโs actually possible this late in the window? Think Grealish will go but would be amazed if we can offload Ait Nouri and Lewis this window.
@RealTolmie Wow! The deal is even better than is being reported. Do you think there will be any more outgoings and, if so, who do you think theyโll be?
@bluemoongramps@chesterbells1@RealTolmie The game that sticks in my mind was Stamford Bridge in the treble season. We were awful in the first half; he came on at half-time and completely changed the game. He had that impact a lot for a while, until teams, unfortunately, started to figure him out.
@MCFC_Rags I donโt trust that source at all. You are absolutely right, if it goes ahead at the fee being mentioned, a serious question would have to be asked as to why we didnโt activate the verbal release clause.
@chesterbells1@RealTolmie@bluemoongramps Yep, itโs become a really tough watch now, both on the pitch and with the reaction of the fans off it. Hope he gets his move, as thereโs definitely a top player in there. Will never forget the impact he had when he first broke through!
@bluemoongramps@RealTolmie Tolmie has said throughout the window he is going to go, so we will see who is right. I hope he goes and thrives somewhere as seems like a lovely bloke!
Same source that said we were going to bid for Enzo weekend before last! ๐
City donโt get dictated to. Said two weeks ago City will only do a deal if the price is right for them, not for Chelsea. ๐ฉต
๐จ๐จ BREAKING: Manchester City are preparing a huge bid of between ยฃ130-140m for Enzo Fernandez. The bid will arrive today or tomorrow. (@gastonedul)
@MCFC_Rags@spbajko I do like a smaller squad, as it tends to keep players happier. But no doubt we need bodies through the door before the window shuts, as otherwise we are too thin. The current ownership have proven they know what needs to be done to win, so it is important we stay behind them. ๐ฉต
@spbajko Thanks for replying. Of course I read your piece. I must still be missing something, as Marescaโs comments did not give me that impression. I believe weโd be lucky to get more than 2 in now based on this and other things. Hope Iโm wrong. Fully support the club as always though.๐ฉต
Hmm, the comment about squad size is very alarming. Would be amazed if we get 3 or more in before the window shuts now, and wouldnโt be surprised if itโs less than that โ including the further outgoings. ๐ฌ
Seems like a lot of โITKsโ have been waffling. Whoโd have guessed?! ๐
BREAKING: Kaden Braithwaite, Floyd Samba, and Ryan McAidoo have been promoted to #ManCity's first-team squad, confirms Enzo Maresca.
Maresca: โWe have three academy players that are going to stay with us because they impressed me in pre-season; Kaden, Samba, and Ryan McAidoo - they are going to stay. Then we need around 20 players plus these three young, full of energy. We are happy!โ [via @HaytersTV]
