After six unforgettable years, the time has come to say goodbye. Manchester City has been so much more than just a football club to me, it has been my home.
Together, we’ve shared incredible moments and won 12 trophies, creating memories that will stay with me forever. But beyond the success on the pitch, it’s the moments in my personal life that have made this city so special.
I lost my dad here, one of the hardest moments of my life. I got married while playing for this club, and we’ve been blessed with two beautiful children during our time here. Manchester will always hold a special place in my heart because so much of my life has happened here.
To all my teammates over the years the manager and the staff, thank you for every moment we shared and every memory we made. We’ve made history together that will never be forgotten! thank you for taking care of me and my family and for making us feel at home from day one.
And to the fans thank you. Thank you for your incredible support through the highest highs and the toughest lows. I will always be grateful for the way you embraced me and my family.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to a place that has given you so much, but I leave with nothing but gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime.
Manchester will always feel like home.
Thank you for everything. 🩵
One thing that’s under appreciated being in Zurich is that I can be on a busy train and not have to check if I still have my watch, phone and wallet every 5 mins.
Plus leaving the car windows down as we pop in somewhere.
You really miss a high trust society once it’s gone.
@myyodemon@Dickie627326@SandyofSuffolk Goes on about decent people but then calls you a "fucking prick" and tells you to "fuck off", these people are beyond parody.
@MarkRuddStaffs What the fuck are you talking about? It's been to an independent commission who, for reasons I don't know, are taking an age to publish a finding. Both sides have spent millions on legal fees and it's out of their hands now. Do try to keep up.
@MarkRuddStaffs@NFFC Actually laughable that you think that cunt Masters is on our side when we've been fighting him in the courts over PSR and APT rules for years.
Labour MPs expect us to care about the so called “personal attacks” on Bridget Phillipson.
Since they’ve spent years calling half of the country racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic and transphobic, I’ll continue not to care.
I'm fuming. From April 2027 the cash ISA limit drops to £12,000 for under-65s, and there's a flat 22% charge on cash interest inside stocks & shares ISAs. You earn it, you're taxed on it, you save it, then taxed again. Over-65s exempt. This is how they cripple ordinary savers.
The more I think about this the angrier I get - work your arse off to give loads of it away in tax. Do the responsible thing, save up - just to give loads of it away in tax. And what do you get to show for it? Just more people with their hand out, demanding more money from you.
@ArchRose90 And there's been some bad ones. Never thought I'd see the day that Charles Clarke would be pushed down into the silver medal spot, but here we are.
Lucy Powell, a piece of human detritus that swims around the Palace of Westminster like a turd bobs around a sewer has never held down a proper job. The rest of them are otherwise unemployable dross, work shy publicity infatuated baboons who have little in common with us.
@ArchRose90@mehdirhasan@RupertLowe10@elonmusk All part and parcel of life in the big city and it's important that the Muslim community doesn't look back in anger. Any backlash against peaceful Englishmen will not be tolerated and anti-white racist agitators will face the full force of the law.
