Wanna hear a secret?
According to Prof Javid Sadr of the University of Massachusetts...
...Bringing your new date to a "horror" movie is one of the most efficient ways to get a second date.
That's because the thrilling movie establishes a strong physical and emotional bond between you two through "confusable arousal".
They get excited by the movie. They get closer to you. They associate this thrill with YOU.
Whether that's true or complete BS, here's something I've seen over and over again in my Copywriting journey:
...Selling a product directly won't have the same impact as selling it alongside a "linked" emotion.
Fascination, for instance.
In your Copy you write about a piece of fascinating wisdom. Could be cool a story with a moral. Or a fact they're not aware of.
The idea is to provoke a "Ah-ah!" moment. And to evoke an emotional response.
Then you just link your product, via juxtaposition and/or logical reasoning (doesn't matter if the transition isn't perfect.)
You will increase your response rate because you created "confusable interest".
They'll link the emotion to you and your product. And they'll buy. It's almost inevitable.

Don't seek the answer, seek options. Don't give directions, give possibilities. This visual by Tim Urban really nails the idea that your path forward has countless forks. Be wary of people advising you which path to take instead of illuminating as many as possible.
