Prehospital POCUS can 100% be used to diagnose paediatric forearm fractures, but we don’t have the evidence to support whether it’s safe to perform regional anaesthesia on distal limb fractures in Paeds prehospitally yet.

And there’s been some excellent work by @PEM_Ultrasound and many others on this.
I’m not sure haematoma blocks or regional distal limb blocks in kids outside of hospital is ready for prime time yet 1/
