Despite the work being completed on the Portal Bridge project, it's a rough morning commute for New Jerseyans on Friday.
Due to Amtrak overhead wire issues at the Portal Bridge, NJ Transit is suspended in both directions between Newark Penn Station and Penn Station New York.
Meantime Amtrak customers were also warned that they may experience lengthy delays and cancellations due to a power outage.
Urgent repairs now needed at Penn Station.
