From my perspective as a fan- no negative. Fight still happens. I still watch.

But if you’re Matchroom and AJ (Matchroom shareholder) allowing dana/zuffa in on this legitimizes a rival promoter who’s openly said he wants to destroy all the other promoters in the game. It also goes against the agreement they signed which states he can’t be involved. Comes back to the fact the agreements contradict each other and those in the middle are responsible for that. Not fury, not AJ.

Of course ego is involved but I do think this is a lot more than that.

@JadeneAngela They’ll find a resolution… and then there will be another breach of contract, amendment or something else that delays it again. One side has stuck to the contract they signed. The other hasn’t… that’s why this fight is in jeopardy once again

@JayMMAYT AJ has shares in Matchroom right? Therefore Zuffa being involved and potentially furthering their position in boxing and becoming more competitive with Matchroom would have long term financial effects on AJ anyway. I’d imagine that is playing a part here.

Forget Eddie Hearn for a minute.

Why would Anthony Joshua, who has shares in Matchroom happily allow a rival
Promoter who has had little to no history with either fighter be involved?

Especially a promoter who came into boxing the way Dana white has!

That’s how I see it too! Honestly what’s the point in contracts existing if they are just going to attempt to breach them at any given opportunity.

I’m also struggling to understand why each side has their own agreement ( that clearly fury amended without the other side knowing ) - surely one binding contract signed by all parties would have been the way to go? I’m over simplifying I guess?! 🤷

Waking up to yet another Tyson Fury rant claiming Eddie and AJ have pulled out of the fight.

What fury knows about contracts could probably be written on the back of a cigarette packet.

If you sign a deal, you want it honored. Simple as that.

Matchroom and AJ don’t want Dana involved for good reason .. WHICH IS WHY THEY PUT IT IN THEIR AGREEMENT! 🙄

So the wait is over. Finally, Fury V AJ. Principality stadium. Whatever the supposed motives were’ @EddieHearn and @MatchroomBoxing have played an absolute blinder. This fight had to be in the UK.

And I’m more than happy to give my opinion… I want Joshua to absolutely chin fury. And I’ll die on that hill. Let’s go @anthonyjoshua
