May 4 is Dutch Remembrance Day in honor of WW2 victims.

Anne Frank’s statue had to be hidden on Remembrance Day, for fear it will be vandalized by the Pro-Hamas mob.

Israeli teenager Benjamin Achimeir was found murdered this morning, after he disappeared yesterday while out shepherding near his home.

So many will scroll past this story. Consciously or not, they justify a child's murder in cold blood because the 14-year-old victim is "a settler."

Children, even in contested areas, should not be a target. If you say this about Palestinians but ignore it when it's about Jews, you are only moving us further from the peace that Israeli and Palestinians so desperately need and deserve.

I urge us all not the harden our hearts to tragedy. To ache for all the victims of this conflict. And to call, together, for peace.

May Benjamin's memory be a blessing.

It can feel scary to be a Jew right now.
