@Bit_Faced Its controversial since increasing block size makes it difficult for plebs to run a node and maintain decentralization. Your previous post specifically cited nodes not being decentralized.
Do you not see the inconsistency, incoherency, and contradiction in your arguments?
@Bit_Faced Who cares? The market cap of Bitcoin hasn’t gotten large enough for Bitcoin to become the “global money”. That is a problem which can be addressed later, after the market cap reaches maybe $10 trillion. BCH has a larger block size, but how much of that blocksize is used?
@Bit_Faced Let’s assume this is a legit argument/point. Assuming BCH had a market cap of $1 trillion and people actually cared about it, what would prevent this exact problem from occurring on BCH? Go on… destroy me like you always think you do. 😂
@BitBrew1@dotkrueger@saylor@clarkmoody “Email accounts give 1 TB of space. So don’t worry about undeletable spam. It will be 10 years before you run out of space.”
@Bit_Faced Ignoring the market cap is irrelevant to Bitcoin becoming the global money and giving us freedom. An increasing market cap, which allows it to slowly (or rapidly) replace the dollar is how it becomes the global money. And it is completely unneccesary to scale at its current cap
@Bit_Faced Because in the current reality we live in, the dollar is the global money. I don’t live in the future or in a world of ifs. I live in the current reality.
@Bit_Faced Glad I could educate you. And now that you understand the significance of marketcap, you should understand why it is entirely unneccesary to scale at this time. But, since you have devoted your existence to BCH, I guess that’s a step too far for you…
@Bit_Faced No. He did not confirm that market cap is irrelevant to BECOMING the global money. He confirmed it doesn’t matter AFTER it is chosen. It won’t be chosen I. The first place with a market cap of only 21,000,000 cars.
@Bit_Faced We were not arguing about “the goal”. We were arguing about market cap being important in the reality we live in. “The goal” is irrelevant to to that argument.
And so, given the market cap is far far away from being chosen as the global money, there is zero reason to scale
@Bit_Faced@grok It’s not conflicting, it’s just confusing to understand. If there were infinity dollars, they would be worth zero. If a dollar is worth zero, how many dollars does it take to buy a Coke? Basically… infinity. It’s just a mathematical principle…
@Bit_Faced@grok Did you ask grok if market cap is important before something is chosen as the global money? I’m ready for you to see how ignorant you are…
@Bit_Faced Ya… but you didn’t explain how bitcoins “actual value” isn’t going up?
Did you ask grok if market cap is important before something is chosen as the global money? I’m ready for you to be humbled…
