I thought most Pirates fans understood their team’s business model by now. Pirates don’t buy stars, they make and sell them. Most players join Pirates as unknowns and leave as stars. Nobody knew Tito, Rele, Zuma, Vilakazi, Lotta, Leremi, Nkota, Mbokazi, etc. until they joined Pirates. When you join Pirates, it’s up to you as a player whether you leave as a star or the same way you came. 😉

Not everyone who moved qualified for Flisp, with electricity, sewerage, tax, water, rates and taxes being so high, the same people who could not qualify are even struggling to pay, because ANC and its corruption that landed SA to where it is. Your profile tells a different story that you are maybe exempt from this as you have managed to move up the volunteer list and rub shoulders with the people benefiting from corruption. At least that’s what I am thinking, respectfully so. Which makes you glorify the ANC without thinking about reality. I know I seem and sound bitter as per your fellow party members, but maybe it’s a call for you to stop defending mediocrity and ask yourself, how can I hold my party accountable and it’s corrupt members to do better.

If the ANC really wanted to, it would implement all these initiatives right now in the municipalities that it governs.

ANC Manifesto Launch: A Complete Disgrace to Residents

The organisation of the ANC manifesto launch today was an absolute mess, and residents had to bear the consequences.

There was no proper traffic direction. JMPD officers were simply walking around, while the people in green uniforms were sitting in a car away from the crowds instead of actively managing the traffic situation. I literally had to leave my car, walk over to find them, and ask them to come and assist with traffic.

Meanwhile, buses and taxis were driving and parking everywhere — including on the oncoming side of the road. The streets were completely chaotic and dangerous, with residents having to navigate an event that appeared to have very little consideration for the people who actually live in the area.

If this is the level of planning and organisation that goes into a major political event, it is deeply concerning.

The event was just as disorganised as the government it represents.

Your manifesto launch may have been important to you, but it became a major inconvenience and safety concern for residents. Political events should not come at the expense of ordinary people simply trying to get home, get to work, or move through their own neighbourhood safely.

ANC, you owe the residents affected by this chaos much better organisation, accountability and consideration.
