The mad blind rivalry of the two political parties is snuffing out the soul of our nation.
This rivalry distracts us from our real problems—the $34 trillion dollar debt; the destructive merger of state and corporate power; our declining health; the epidemic of addiction; the growing war machine; widespread soil degradation; the fact that fifty-seven percent of Americans cannot put their hands on a thousand dollars during an emergency.
Instead of focusing on these critical issues, politicians direct our attention toward divisive culture war issues such as abortion, transgender athletes, gun control. We then discharge our anxiety and rage onto these issues, and especially those who hold opposing views on them. Thus distracted, the public offers little resistance to its ongoing robbery at the hands of elite corporate interests.
Step outside the culture war. Step outside the politics of hating the other side. Vote independent in 2024! #Kennedy24
If everyone in our country voted their conscience, voted for the best candidate rather than the one they thought could win, then the best candidate would win.
If Roaring Kitty decides to exercise his $GME options on the livestream tomorrow - thereby forcing market makers/brokers to cough up 12 million GME shares out of thin air for him to buy - prepare for one of the the most epic rallies in history.
Think he'll do it?
I hear some of my family will be endorsing President Biden today. I am pleased they are politically active — it’s a family tradition. We are divided in our opinions but united in our love for each other.
I hold this as a possibility for America too. Can we disagree without hating our opponents? Can we restore civility and respect to public discourse? I think we can.
My campaign, which many of my family members are working on and supportive of, is about healing America — healing our economy, our chronic disease crisis, our middle class, our environment, and our standing in the world as a peaceful nation.
But this will only happen if we heal our national conversation, and move from rage and fear into love and respect. #KennedyShanahan24 🇺🇸
During the 35 years that I’ve known Joe Biden, he’s always demonstrated his core decency. He has shown his affection and esteem for my family by displaying a bust of my father in the Oval Office.
I suspect that the White House decision to deny me Secret Service protection — and many other more important decisions — are being made, not by the President himself, but by the anonymous men in lanyards who now seem to be running our government.
