Forsaken and Witch Queen were pretty peak though, tough to choose between the two. Dreaming City is still the prettiest location the game ever produced IMO.
Beyond Light holds a special place because the Series X came out that day and Amazon delivered in the morning (which never happens) so I was able to set it up and preload BL just before the servers went back up. Had the whole day off work and grinded all day. It was a good day.
PlayStation on the Bungie layoffs today:
"We have made the decision to reduce Bungie’s workforce, affecting a significant number of employees, including most of the Destiny team and some Marathon team members."
@PaulTassi The interesting prospect to me about this is how much effort did they put into it. Like are all these exclusive stores some that are explorable or are they just slightly modified versions of existing stores with decoration changes.
@PaulTassi Most likely. Pretty sure RDR2 had something similar and GTAO has some stuff exclusive to the GTA+ sub like being able to try out a rotating list of cars for free before purchase from an exclusive shop only GTA+ folks have access too or a free massive garage.
@PaulTassi The same type of language that is reserved for Microsoft stepping on rakes needs to be used for Sony. Sony's live service gamble has been a clown show in all facets. Almost unprecedented stupidity. At least Halo for all its missteps, still exists.
@PaulTassi@Forbes Makes sense considering Sony doesn't understand live service. The fact vanguard rep being bugged probably won't get fixed because of some weird mandate so they can lay off a bunch of people is insane and they need to get dragged more for it.
@PaulTassi Game is in a good spot too. Spent their little anniversary season grinding SHD level and some gear and it wasn't too intensive to get something decent
@Melizande@DestinyTheGame I was wondering this earlier. Made it to rank 5 pretty quick and then realized it was taking 6+ of anything in Vanguard Ops just to get another rank. Didn't try a GM but Master vs Normal was no different.
