Health Update:

Hey friends, while I navigate this health journey, I wanted to update you on where I stand diagnosis-wise.

I am currently fighting Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. On paper, this means I will never (barring a miracle) be “in remission,” but instead have a mission of reaching “NED,” otherwise known as “No evidence of disease.”

With this being a blood based cancer, we are treating this as a chronic illness, meaning the goal is to manage it, with the understanding that I will require life long treatment.

As I’ve said, I plan to fight this hard and push for the longest, richest life possible.

It’s a heavy diagnosis, but with my trust in the Lord and the support of my army across the globe, I’m going to find the joy, regardless of the weight of the fight.
