@TeamYouTube I am aware of that @TeamYouTube but why did I get a strike if I only disputed it instead of escalating to appeal? There's no info anywhere that disputing can result in a strike (only escalating to appeal as in the screenshot). I obviously wouldn't have risked getting a strike.

@TeamYouTube @google @YouTubeCreators @YouTube There was a copyright claim on my video and I disputed it, because I thought it should be fair use. Even though I DISPUTED the claim instead of ESCALATING TO APPEAL I received a copyright strike which now puts my channel at danger.
