But I know universally defenses have gone 2-high to prevent explosives in the pass game and nickel corners have become important. With that being the norm…. I would think larger offensive lines/run heavy schemes could become the new edge

I’m assuming (and hoping) Harbaugh and the Giants are getting ahead of the curve here and taking advantage by intentionally investing heavily in the trenches, bringing in a 300lb FB to pair with Skatt, going heavy 12 pers.
