Is the current Secretary of the Treasury really this misinformed? He just said that if you have an old gold or silver certificate, you can bring it to Fort Knox and claim your metal. That’s false. Gold certificates have not been redeemable for gold since 1933, and silver-certificate redemption ended in 1968. If Bessent is this ignorant about the history and status of U.S. currency, why should we trust his assurances about the gold supposedly held at Fort Knox?

Det var da godt nok belejligt, at Danmark pludselig fandt 85 millioner kroner i kassen, som nu sendes til Libanon og Palæstina, mens danskerne må spises af med diverse checks.

Samtidig kan Danmark ikke sende folk retur, da der ikke er udleveringsaftaler med hverken Libanon eller Palæstina,

Til gengæld får de permanent ophold, førtidspension og dansk indfødsret.
