The media report has conveniently left out the race of the 2 shooters but I have been able to confirm they were both black

Mugshots are not being released

The 16 year old boy is Ja’ymier Davis from East St. Louis, charged as an adult with 5 counts of first-degree murder and other felonies including dismemberment of a victim

The 15 year old girl is his girlfriend and a relative of the victims. Prosecutors are seeking to try her as an adult

🚨😢The Ship That Caught a Baby From the Sky🔥🔥🔥

In 1975, a Vietnamese pilot hovered a giant Chinook over a tiny American warship and dropped his 10-month-old daughter into the arms of a US sailor.

What happened next is the most American thing I've ever read.

April 29, 1975. Saigon is falling.

The USS Kirk, a small escort ship with 260 sailors, watches the horizon fill with South Vietnamese helicopters. Families crammed inside. Fuel running out. Nowhere to land.

The Kirk's deck fits ONE small helicopter.

So the crew makes a call: land them one by one, get the people off, and shove the empty helicopters into the ocean. Millions of dollars of aircraft, pushed overboard like trash.

Because people matter more than machines.

Then a massive CH-47 Chinook appears. Too big to land. The crew waves it off — it would kill everyone on deck.

The pilot, Ba Nguyen, refuses to leave. His wife and three children are on board.

So he hovers over the stern. One by one, his family jumps into the arms of American sailors. His baby daughter is literally dropped from the sky — and caught.

Then he flies off alone, strips off his flight suit while holding the chopper steady, banks it away from the ship, and jumps into the sea as the Chinook crashes beside him.

The Kirk's rescue boat was in the water before he even surfaced.

Then came one more order: "Go back. We forgot the Vietnamese Navy."

So one small American ship turned around, gathered 32 ships carrying 30,000 refugees, and escorted them 1,000 miles to safety.

For 35 years, nobody told this story. America wanted to forget Vietnam.

Then in 2010, the Kirk's crew tracked down Ba Nguyen — and pinned a US Air Medal on his chest.

And in a refugee camp in Guam, a baby girl born after the rescue was given an American name:

Kirk.
