I heard doordash was stealing tips from their drivers so out of curiosity, I asked the woman who dropped off my tacos how much it's showing that I tipped her; she said $5. I showed her my phone where I tipped $20 (bc the taco place was busy and she waited for my order). 😐

The game has some pacing issues, but the backlash against the direction they chose to take the narrative was so ridiculously overblown.

@PeterP_1985 @Jav1Arte Pedantic correction, but it's 50% the resolution in each dimension (e.g. 2160=>1080, 3840=>1920), making it 25% the full resolution (0.5*0.5=0.25).

Just makes it even more impressive that it works as well as it does!

@cesarchip @analistadebits The noise is due to a low # of rays cast. Capcom's denoiser doesn't do a very good job cleaning up. When PT is enabled, Ray Reconstruction is used as the denoiser. RR works well, but is computationally expensive.

RT on current hardware is noisy AF. Crimson Desert has same issue

@KaiserKamen @analistadebits The numbers he's reporting are display refresh rate, not FPS. In 120Hz mode the game seems to be using low framerate compensation, which refreshes twice for each frame rendered to keep the refresh rate within the VRR window.

Tldr the actual framerate is 1/2 of what's shown here
