@tbakes06410 @AmbassadorHoot@HansonmanZ@Asheswillfall1 @CaeCavelry @ErikVoorhees@ohJuliatweets The government spends more on education than it ever has. Yet literacy rates are decreasing, drop out rates are increasing. You can't force children to learn in a failed public school system when there are better forms of education out there these days.
@tbakes06410 @AmbassadorHoot@HansonmanZ@Asheswillfall1 @CaeCavelry @ErikVoorhees@ohJuliatweets The most children get out of school is learning from each other, social cues. They don't learn much from the actual school, in fact I would argue they unlearn how to be human and curious. Students are trained to be obedient and uniform in school, not critical thinkers.
@AmbassadorHoot@HansonmanZ @tbakes06410 @Asheswillfall1 @CaeCavelry @ErikVoorhees@ohJuliatweets Teaching other people is baked into our DNA as humans. Public school is not education, it's brain washing. Kids don't even learn how to learn in school, which should be the first thing they learn.
@AmbassadorHoot@ErikVoorhees@ohJuliatweets It's actually the other way round. Most people are teachers, most cannot cook.
Why do you think teachers get paid so little? BC most people can teach, so supply of teachers is high.
@Luke_Ethwalker@ErikVoorhees@SBF_FTX@d_gilz There is a difference between law and regulation. Laws tend to be universal. Theft, fraud, murder violate laws, not regulations.
@ErikVoorhees@SBF_FTX@d_gilz Thank you for eloquently defending access to open source protocols @ErikVoorhees. Millions of Americans will be harmed by suggesting regulatory compromise for the gatekeepers to DeFi contracts. Perhaps such talk will encourage more innovation of a truly decentral internet.
