And it is bipartisan, multicultural, has both sexes, different lifestyles, and ages.

Ancient human cultures would be difficult given the setting but it certainly could have benefited from more alien cultures especially early on. The focus on interpersonal drama was WAY too heavy too. That said the show had a lot of potential that it (started) to develop right as it got canceled.

-It ISN'T canceled cuz of budget
-It ISN'T canceled cuz the OG crew left
-But IS too fan focused
-AND they still may make a modern Stargate
