genuine advice for people who don't enjoy the direction of dnd after 4th edition is to just play wargames instead. warhammer will never, ever, stop being a hitting things simulator with clear morality in the minds of the characters. age of sigmar is dnd in a trenchcoat. enjoy

@korpg @SpicyEncounters dnd being the most popular of these kinds of games, it's going to be driven by who buys the books. people will currently buy more books leaning away from morally clean-cut combat simulator - that's not the appeal. you are free to enjoy what you like and so is everyone else
