But on a serious note, are people not following 2 attempts rule anymore? I have never stabbed one patient more than twice. Or is two stabs per clinician on the ward before you call for the real guys?

By the time they pick up, I have forgotten I called them and not responding to a bleep.
They pick up.
I start with “Hi, this is Rheumatology, someone bleeped” 😂

@worldartira @gunsnrosesgirl3 I am a medical doctor but not a respiratory specialist. I have done chest drains in simulation lab multiple times but never managed to do one on a real patient. Would you volunteer for me to put in a chest drain if/when you need one since simulation training counts?
