You believe independent oversight is good. How do you feel about more regular health inspections of abortion facilities? @ilyseh#prolife https://t.co/M2aZAXfSkR
I think you’ve hit it: Too much of the GOP donor base relies on immigrant labor (legal or illegal) and intends to dam up any real initiative requiring them to hire native-born Americans. In 2028, they want to pivot to compassionate conservatism (abandoning men, America First rhetoric, and social issues for corporatism-plus-war). Anti-DEI policies may let more men go to college, but they’ll still lose eight of 10 jobs to H1-B visa holders. And college-educated white women will still vote Democrat in three-quarters of elections for as long as that demographic matters.
What Tucker is doing, if I might guess, is setting lines of active measure meant to undermine mainstream Protestant belief in the US. In this case, imagine young people asking unprepared pastors to comment on this, thus losing the young people's confidence and trust.
Indeed, an Italian court once forced 60-year-old Giancarlo Casagrande to pay his 32-year-old daughter €12,000 in arrears, because he cut off her allowance without a court order. He also had to resume his €350 a month stipend until she graduated with a philosophy degree — as soon as she finished her thesis on the holy grail. https://t.co/VLQgB50FUt
@paisiosdavis I’m so sorry I will not see your excellent writing as often at UOJ. But I know you will put your estimable gifts to a higher use in direct ministry to our Church. God bless all you do!
@CurtMills Barack Obama’s only talents were getting himself elected and weaponizing government against his enemies. He had near-historic losses in the 2010 and 2014 midterms, was ignored when he endorsed redefining marriage in North Carolina, and couldn’t even bring the Olympics home.
I think the biggest irony in Pearl's performative stunt at my parish yesterday is that Little Miss Red-Pill is being told that we have a hierarchical, patriarchal institution so if she has questions she should talk to a member of our all-male clergy and the response from her and her little army of basement-dwellers is to turn into liberals arguing about the first amendment and asking what we're afraid of.
As performative contradictions go, it's a pretty good one.
