@JonathanL35886 No absolutely he’s overall loved by the fans but there was a sizeable online contitigent towards the end that wanted him gone and a similar amount now complaining about him being back. Now you can argue that doesn’t represent the overall fan base which is absolutely fair
Wow, that’s a shock. I love Tony, and wish him all the best obviously. But it ended badly between him and the fans, and the fact he was basically sacked without the owners telling him and he still came back suggests a lack of other job offers…
@robjyoung I think it probably is a decent appointment in that he’ll stabilise the club, just seems very backward-looking. May be exactly what we need for a few years. Would love it for it to work out for him, all the love from former players on Insta shows what high regard he’s held in
Also Hall should be in over Spence purely because he’s an actual left back rather than a rb playing left back- something that caused problems at the Euros too!
Henderson over Wharton is madness. If you want his experience take him as a coach, and let someone who has their whole England career ahead of them get experience. No AA is expected but insane in my view. Maguire should definitely be in over Burn. Should’ve taken
Welbeck or Calvert-Lewin instead of Toney. No Foden or Palmer is a risk (Palmer scored in a Euro Final 2 years ago!). Tuchel is paid the big bucks to make these decisions and I’ll back the lads all the way but the Wharton decision rubs me up the wrong way
@hbellamyx@EricBlueMonster@Rovers I’m so sorry for your loss Hannah. She was a shining light on here, and never failed to bring a smile to my face whenever I interacted with her.
@BBCLancsSport This is awful news. Jen was a beacon of positivity on this site. Her journey with cancer was so hope-filled and inspiring, while also of course prompting such joy. Love to her family and friends, of whom I’m sure there are many.

Blackburn Rovers can confirm that Michael O’Neill will not be extending his current agreement to become the club’s permanent Head Coach beyond the conclusion of his existing period with the club.

Was at Ewood today for the first/last time this season; Covid scuppered an earlier trip. While the result was disappointing (still have no idea how Baradji/Ohashi missed those chances) great to be there to thank MON for his efforts this season.
