Professional rock ripping bucket @WaterfrontTO, digging the new Don River. Nature-lover. Rock-collector. Vegetarian. Never skipped a leg day. Opinions my own
First Halloween since Biidaasige Park opened and our team knows how to celebrate. Can you guess which of my colleagues is under this Owlie costume? (It’s obviously not me… I’m too big to even fit in the office. It’s been awkward…)

I’ve been busy getting the rest of Biidaasige ready for you all but I had to take a moment to recognize this dog. I have a soft spot for dogs because, like me, they eat dirt and can’t paddle their own kayaks. And this looks like a 10/10 dog. Thanks for sharing 😍
This. Is. Awesome. Come check it out this weekend! Theres a ton of fun stuff happening today and tomorrow. I got my face painted, watched people dancing and eating “food” (I filled up on rocks before heading down). Can’t wait to finish up the other section of the park for you all
📹🧵 @dmrider & I were among the first (authorized) to float along the restored route where the Don River historically emptied into the harbour. Now the public can too w the opening of its massive greenspace: Biidaasige Park https://t.co/pEP9Nzm6hk Video edits by @lancemcmillan
Tomorrow, the weekend of celebrations begins as we open section 1 of Biidaasige Park! The countown ends with my number 1 favourite video, featuring none other than our pal Joey showing us how to flood a river: https://t.co/OqTbRMXjVt
See you tomorrow at the park!!!!!
2 days til park opening! Coming in at number 2 on the video countdown, our live watch party when the first bridge left Nova Scotia en route to Toronto https://t.co/OWmpIIvkyt
3 days til park opening, and here’s number 3 on my video countdown. Remember in 2018 when we created the northwest corner of the island? I wasn’t even on the project yet because this was about adding soil and I specialize in digging. https://t.co/cez2Sxmtv2
4 days til park opening! Number 4 on my video countdown is our first public meeting for PLFP, featuring young and hopeful versions of your fave project team members! https://t.co/FbA2mjKY7G
Did you have a good weekend?? Guess what, it’s 5 days til park opening! Here’s number 5 on my video countdown, a slideshow I made showing all the fish TRCA found in the new habitats! https://t.co/ePhSNa6Waw
9 days til park opening! Here's number 7 on my video countdown, featuring the delightful Shannon Baker, who is still looking for Mackarel in the new river to this day... https://t.co/cWa9Cl2HyG
10 days til park opening! Coming in at number 8, mostly because of Don’s luxurious beard, a video from 3 years ago when we were just starting to plant in the new river: https://t.co/dLgy3eVN8X
11 days til park opening! Here's my number 9 on my countdown of fave videos about the project. We made this video with Vid and Ryan after unearthing an 1800s breakwater. The best part, after it was documented, they let me eat it. https://t.co/1aPwJiYMRv
The countdown is on for Biidaasige Park's first section opening! I'm sharing my Top 10 favorite project videos daily until then. Can you guess #1? Here's #10—my friend Herb Sweeny on engineering the new river back in 2019: https://t.co/wsOE8TTm7g
