South Carolina Stephen Goldfinch (no prosecutorial experience) is peak unhinged politician cosplaying as a tough prosecutor. The same guy who just days ago allegedly called up a critic and straight-up threatened to sic his 'political guys' on their divorce, their work, and their nonprofit if they didn’t shut up about him? That’s not leadership.
That’s straight-up thug tactics and intimidation. South Carolina doesn’t need an Attorney General who treats criticism like a personal vendetta and weaponizes private lives.
South Carolina needs someone with real prosecutorial experience actually doing the job day in and day out, not a CAREER senator and former military lawyer who thinks threats are a substitute for substance.
David Stumbo ran a solicitor’s office and helped oversee the State Grand Jury.
Goldfinch? Apparently thinks blackmail-adjacent threats are how you win. This guy is a walking embarrassment to the office he’s chasing.
