Operation Rising Lion
The lion does not roar
for conquest—
but to remind the jackals
what silence cost.
Under fire,
a nation stands
not by accident,
but by covenant.
Bound by oath,
backed by flame,
its people are not strangers
to siege or sky.
Israel strikes
not to provoke,
but to endure—
to ensure her children wake
beneath a sun
that doesn’t dodge missiles.
This is not a cry for war,
but a vow:
We will not
be buried
quietly.
Prime Minister Netanyahu:
"Moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel's very survival.
This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat."
1/ Breakfast in Gaza:
Freshly fried french fries, olives, freshly baked bread, Heinz ketchup.

Inas promotes Abu Jihad Saqallah cakes and sweets shop in Gaza City. See the beautiful birthday cakes, the many ice cream flavors and the different types of Eastern style cakes. It's not cheap, a beautifully iced birthday cake currently costs 160 shekels ($44), but the store is still full of shoppers. Inas also takes us upstairs to see the women's ("family") seating area.
