Tractional retinal detachment (RD), differs from traditional RD on POCUS w/lack of undulation (dynamic scan). Can be subtle. Usually complication of diabetes, presents w/decreased visual acuity. Treatment involves better systemic RX of diabetes +/-surgery @UNCEM @UNCEMSONO

Elderly, demented patient agitated from pain-> calm in 5 minutes after fascia iliac block. Should be standard of care. Initial injection above the fascia iliaca followed by correct needle placement and seeding of the compartment (FN + LCFN) with anesthetic @POCUSaurusRex @UNCEM
