We heartily agree, Sharon! We'd say it went swimmingly ;) Congrats today to Camden and Jill on brilliant defenses -- what great presenters. @jillianmmyers
Watch for me on #SharkWeek, I’m in some of the stock footage often used. How can you tell? Look at my markings!
My beauty mark dot can be seen sometimes, but I haven’t always had it (and sometimes video shows my left side). #SharkFacts#TeamHelen#FactsOverFear
If #Evol2020 was happening, this morning would have been the @ASNAmNat Vice Presidential Symposium. This year's theme was model systems, including nascent model systems and new & exciting uses of existing systems. Since Evol2020 is canceled, I want to highlight the speakers here!
Happy #SharkSunday to the black tip reef shark! 🎉🎉🎉
Science fact: the coolest sharks to roam the reef, black tip reef sharks become “excited” (per wikipedia) when around each other.
Personal fact: it was my birthday yesterday so cut me some slack :)
I'm very excited that @MichelleLFearon is now an official Duffy Lab member! As of today, Michelle is a postdoc in the lab, working on multihost-multiparasite interactions. We're looking forward to converting Michelle to #TeamDaphnia!
Happy #SharkSunday to the tawny nurse shark!
Science fact: these sharks are mostly nocturnal and will sleep in groups together to rest during the day.
Personal fact: my pal Alex is a tawny nurse shark, and he thinks his band can still make it big*
