@southernman13@CanyonGabrielYT@TheExBeliever Two quick things. 1: Your boos mean nothing, I’ve seen what makes you cheer. 2: In order for your opinion to affect me, I first have to care about it. Your lack of understanding doesn’t mean you are correct. I hope you find the truth. I already have.
@Babywwir Yup. That’s the whole point. Any church turning someone away who actually wants to learn or grow closer to God isn’t a church, it’s a scam. Looks don’t matter.
@ShitpostRock2 The problem here is that God of perfect and therefore nothing He does is evil. Human understanding has no part in God’s plans. So, to answer, there isn’t a single evil thing God did in the Bible or anywhere else.
@BuzzPatterson Isn’t this the vegan guy who wants Texans to stop eating meat? So in order to get votes, he’s willing to abandon his own principles. What a good, trustworthy leader. 🤣
@CanyonGabrielYT@southernman13@TheExBeliever You’re right, of course, @CanyonGabrielYT. People see Hell as a punishment. Hell is an inevitability for sinners. All humans are sinners. God loves us enough to take on human form and die just to give us a way to avoid that fate. IYKYK.
@hookskat You do realize he DIDN’T die, right? That’s the whole point of the resurrection. The death of His earthly body was symbolic. His perfect blood washed away all sin for all time for those that accept Him. But he also resurrected, and is therefore not dead. Your point is invalid.
@hemantmehta HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You think we care about race, gender, etc. We don’t like any of these people because they’re weak, unintelligent, feckless leaders who back shitty policy. That’s the connecting thread.
@JohnWick2101 So…beating a pregnant woman and causing her to miscarry isn’t murder, just assault. Also, are YOU a pregnant woman? If not, why do you get an opinion?
@gaughen You call it imploding. We call it improving. If you’re fragile and stupid enough to leave for because your feefees got hurt, we’re more than happy to say goodbye.
@PaddyTheFitzer@eldritchharpy “Transactional" describes interactions, relationships, or systems based on an exchange of value or a quid pro quo. By definition, two people sleeping with each other because they want to, whether for physical or emotional reasons, is transactional. Even if one IS using the other.
@HistoryBoomer This is like saying if I give you a bag of 1000 skittles and tell you twelve of them are cyanide pills, it’s fear mongering if someone tells you not to eat them.
@PaddyTheFitzer@eldritchharpy You’re assuming I’m putting this label on everyone who’s ever hooked up. People hook up. It happens. But treating sex as transactional for any significant portion of time almost always results in negative mental health side effects, mostly for women.
@HistoryBoomer Agreed on everything except the Nazis. Yes they were bad, but Nazi is literally short for “national socialist German workers party” so I’ll have to disagree there.
@eldritchharpy Everyone absolutely has sexual agency over themselves and casual sex doesn’t mean disrespect. But study after study finds that the effects are either no change, or poorer mental health, especially in women. None of them show improved mental or emotional health.
@eldritchharpy I’m not saying that at all. You can enjoy it all you want, doesn’t mean it’s a good thing. And yes, men who sleep around are also whores and no self respecting woman should want a man who’s treated women as sex objects his whole life.
@micah_erfan Oh yeah? How you enjoying those free busses? How about the lower taxes? How about the billions in lost revenue for the state, the increase in crime, homelessness, etc? Give it a minute. You’ll understand once it’s too late.
