I know there are a lot of parents out there who are worried and wondering if they’ll be able to get Christmas presents for the kids on time.
What I can tell you is that because of the actions we’ve taken, those shelves are going to be well-stocked.
@POTUS@JoeBiden@Senolteswer@VP with the recent school shooting in Michigan, prosecutor Karen McDonald made a great call by charging the individual with terrorism. Let’s stand up and start making every school shooting a terrorism act!
When the military swear in, they agree to defend the country from foreign and domestic terrorist. This school shooter and everyone after absolutely should be charged with terrorism. @Senolteswer@SUSocialWork
Charging an accused school shooter with terrorism is rare. In 2018, an Ocala, Florida student who shot through a door and wounded another student, was charged with terrorism and later pleaded no contest to that count and other charges. https://t.co/DrhrD5QGGh
President Biden says he stands by the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, saying the jury system of trial in the US works and must be respected

@basore_sarah@Senolteswer The winter blues are very real. SAD seasonal affective disorder is what I refer to it during winter months. I am not use to not having sun, as I was raised in San Diego. @Senolteswer@SUSocialWork
Although the COLA will help with this increase, it will still affect many social security recipients, and the only who rely only on their SS benefits will be hurting! @SUSocialWork@Senolteswer
The government announced a large increase in Medicare premiums, blaming the pandemic along with a pricey and controversial new Alzheimer's drug

@Zara45509595 You are right, nobody likes to think of it that way. We watched it happen with Hitler, we encouraged during it then, but now have a problem with it because it’s our country? @SUSocialWork@Senolteswer
"The only thing that CPS provides is surveillance, and surveillance is not support."
Learn more about the harms of mandatory reporting and the difference that "mandatory supporting" can bring in this great video from @AbolitionistSW featuring @JMacForFamilies.
She is correct, however, why are the states not assisting in replacing all the lead pipes? Why would they need to wait on the government? @Senolteswer@SUSocialWork
The cost to replace every lead pipe in the United States is $45-60 billion.
BIF only gives $15b. Without BBB, many communities historically denied clean water will continue to be denied.
Build Back Better has lead $ for disadvantaged communities. We must keep pushing for BBB.
@Tymiraparker@Senolteswer I am confused on how you can go to a protest and be “prepared” for self defense. No, he was looking for trouble, and he will get away with it, that’s the sad part! White privilege! @SUSocialWork@Senolteswer
@alxcru Yes! I have done similar to a CAF, and am guilt of writing the same line, client utilizes all benefits. However I can’t not tell you how many times more income would have opened the case and allowed me to step back. @Senolteswer@SUSocialWork
@Amdittsworth123@Senolteswer while I find this to be true, I believe it would create a foundation, but the outside community also impacts a persons behaviors and actions. I do however wonder which factor has the biggest impact. I would love to see the percentages. @SUSocialWork@Senolteswer
@Tymiraparker@alxcru@Senolteswer wow, this explains the struggle our families are experiencing and with a wait list of 10+ years for housing vouchers. Perhaps the state should provide more than 4 FUP'S next year to assist. @SUSocialWork@Senolteswer
