SpellBook - Reverse Social Media For Introspection
@TheSpellBookApp
Battling the attention monopoly by building a reverse social media platform for introspection & clarity. Now in open beta on iOS!
Created by @adam_blvck
Added stories to Spellbook!
You can now charge your things and they will decay over time.
Charged things create stories for quick and easy overview of your best ideas
Part I of the update!
@TheGrimTimes @Yannick_Veys Those platforms are not free, they are data rigs, selling who you are at your unconscious level to third parties, to keep the economy spinning
If one would cut up a cycle into four parts (like the four seasons, or four directions on a map) and assign real-life aspects to each…. Then we’d get a universal way to organize real-life content.
That’s what SpellBook does as a core feature!

@jessie_baby88@BorisJohnson@England Absolutely! My point is that punishment is probably not the best way to go about these things. The desire to punish for bad behavior is indicative of thinking that we know better than others, whereas it’s all about unresolved emotional issues, which are very delicate matter
@jessie_baby88@BorisJohnson@England Understandable, so how would you approach the conflict between Palestinians and Jews in the Middle East, where actual people are dying because of cultural convictions?
@Iamfluxx_ @_shansey_ Both are facts:
- these are letters on a screen
- they have a temporary impact on brains
Regarding privilege… had to commit to 5 years of self-therapy to undo my reactivity to other’s caprice.
You got to be kidding me to introduce crime for thoughts (KGB tactics) on Twitter
@BenFish29999868 Let’s give big tech legal power over people’s freedom from typing certain words on a screen?
It’s literally BIG MONEY day for media companies. For the same .01$, 90% of the accounts are fake, or owned by children that have no sense of empathy because of their small worlds
@ADPaterson6 > disrespected & humiliated by erasable letters on a screen
Social media’s business model is to make em emotionally charged to the point of cooking, then serving em ads.
Sounds like a golden day!
@StevenSquires20 Racism is nuanced. Rappers use the same letters as racists, most of the time.
Today is a big day for social media actually. Lots of engagement, and you use the same platform to share your discontent.
Wonderful business model!
